How Care at Apex Wellness Works

Care at Apex Wellness follows four steps in a fixed order: a consultation first, labs during that visit if the physician determines you need them, personalized treatment, and ongoing monitoring. Every service in the practice runs on this same model.

1. Consultation First

Care at Apex Wellness begins with a conversation. You come in and sit down with Dr. Delozier to talk through your symptoms and your pain, injury, or illness, along with your health history and what you are hoping to change. All of it is documented, because that record is what identifies the evaluation and care best suited to your situation. This is a physician-level assessment by a board-certified doctor with 27 years of clinical experience, not a form matched to a template.

2. Labs If Indicated

During that same visit, the physician or nurse tells you whether bloodwork is needed for your situation, and if it is, it is drawn on site. What gets tested is decided by what you described: hormone levels, thyroid function, metabolic markers, or whatever else your symptoms point toward. You do not need to arrange labs beforehand or arrive with results in hand.

3. Personalized Treatment

Your plan is built from that conversation, from any lab results, and from Dr. Delozier's clinical judgment. The therapy, the dose, and the delivery method are all matched to you. Whether that plan involves hormone therapy, pellet therapy, peptide therapy, medical weight loss, or a combination, you will understand what each part is for and what to expect from it. He also tells you plainly when treatment is not the right answer.

4. Ongoing Monitoring

Treatment is followed with scheduled visits and repeat labs as needed, because the right dose today is confirmed by data tomorrow. Monitoring is how your plan stays effective and safe as your body responds, and it is a standing part of being a patient at Apex Wellness, not an optional add-on.

Why the conversation comes first

The consultation comes first because the right testing depends on the right questions. Two people with the same complaint can need completely different evaluations, and only a documented history of your symptoms, your pain or injury, and your health background tells Dr. Delozier which markers actually matter for you. Ordering labs before that conversation would mean testing on assumption.

That does not make the care any less data-driven. When bloodwork is clinically indicated, it is drawn on site during the same visit, and no treatment is recommended on symptoms alone when the numbers should decide. Labs are ordered because your history calls for them, not as a default first step.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need labs before my first appointment?

No. Your consultation comes first. You talk through your symptoms and health history with Dr. Delozier, and during that same visit he or a nurse tells you whether bloodwork is needed for your situation and draws it on site. There is nothing you need to arrange beforehand.

What are the four steps of care at Apex Wellness?

The four steps are: 1. Consultation First. 2. Labs If Indicated. 3. Personalized Treatment. 4. Ongoing Monitoring. Every service at Apex Wellness follows this same model, led by Dr. Tadd Delozier in Lincoln, Nebraska.

What happens at the first consultation?

You sit down with Dr. Delozier and talk through your symptoms, your pain, injury, or illness, your goals, and your health history, and all of it is documented. He then tells you whether bloodwork is needed for your situation, and if it is, it is drawn on site during that same visit. Your treatment plan follows from that conversation and any lab results.

How often are labs rechecked?

Follow-up labs are scheduled as part of the ongoing monitoring step of the care model, as often as your plan calls for. The exact schedule is personalized to your treatment plan, and Dr. Delozier explains it when your plan is set.

What if my labs come back normal?

Dr. Delozier will tell you plainly. If your results do not support treatment, he explains what your labs show and discusses appropriate next steps rather than recommending therapy that the data does not justify.
